the mods I had in the game are gone, but it did save my roster files, UBR files, association and settings. I re-installed the game, and it works, but everything went back to the default settings when the game came out. My question is are there suppose to be 2 folders for the game files? I thought I was doing the right thing by combining them to one folder.
Then I start to play and it kicks me back to the steam startup page. I loaded the game, and saw a different title page with UBR ultimate roster instead of the default Lebron startup which I didn't have originally, as well as the music. There are files in both folders, so I transferred the files from (X86) steam to the program files (X86) folder. One is program files(X86) and the other is program files (X86) steam. I noticed in my directory, I have 2 folders. I have the DD version of NBA2K14 from Amazon.

It can also keep mod profiles that remember which mods you want enabled for each profile (e.g. It also detects if a mod you're about to enable will conflict with another enabled mod. It automatically keeps backups of your original files and restores them when you disable the mod. JSGME will detect the mods in that folder on start-up, and allow you to enable any of them. You install it to the game's installation directory, and put any new mod you want to try in a subfolder within a Mods folder. JSGME, or Generic Mod Enabler, is a mod manager that works with any game. Exactly the same things apply.Ī common issue modders creating (and users using) Total Conversions encounter, is the inability to keep the original game and the total conversion installed without having to copy the entire game folder to another place, or keeping manual backups of any files the mod replaces.Īnother common issue for users, is downloading a mod and installing it, only to find out they didn't like it, but not having kept a backup, they have to dig up their original disc to find the original file, or download another mod. This makes things quick, a little lazy, but still fun and playable. The Catch, to avoid the tedious and time-consuming nature of creating buildings, I am playing up the "Midnight Ballers" aspect of this and only have the court lit without any surroundings. So what I've been doing all these weeks and months is try and create a template for myself where I can quickly create a 1 texture court (thanks to R4zoR) decide on crowd size, then choose a backboard shape, and essentially have a court completely created.
